Shaker Card - Polar Skaters


I love all the adorable Polar Pal stamps from Art Impressions. I cut out two of the bears from the Polar Skaters stamp and placed them inside a shaker frame with glittery snow.

(Sorry for the streaks on the photo. They are not there in real life. The streaks are a glare from the acrylic insert reflecting on my camera lens.)

Lady in pink


I love to do paper piecing on my cards and this stamp is perfect for that technique. I stamped with Memento black ink on white cardstock. Then stamped on designer paper with Versafine black. Cut out hat, top and purse pieces. Colored image with Copic markers then glued on the top, hat and purse. Cut out white image with Nestabilities rectangle die and pink layer with scalloped rectangle die. Stitched background papers. Attached image to background layer. Placed flowers on lower left corner and ribbon with flower to upper right corner to finish.

This style of card is called a flip flop or swing card. I love how the middle part moves when you open them.

Birthday card for my neighbor


My neighbor will be 81 years young tomorrow and he loves to go boating. Thought this fabulous Baithouse stamp from Art Impressions would be perfect for his card. I stamped the image with Memento Black ink and colored with Copic markers. Embossed background layer with Cuttlebug folder then added ribbon, button and jute.

Think Spring!


I'm tired of all the snow and cold weather. Hope spring gets here soon. In the meantime I'm pulling out my spring stamps and working on some cards with bright cheerful colors. The tulip stamp is made by Denami. I bought it a long time ago and it hasn't seen ink in ages. Love how this birthday card turned out.

Masculine card #3 for OWH.

Simon Says - Bingo - Pick 3 - I picked die cuts, embossing and ribbon. I cut out image with Nestabilities dies, embossed the background layer with Cuttlebug Houndstooth folder. Added a ribbon, jute to button and fishing line to string the fish onto the button. Also added jute to the corners of the fishing image.

Happy Birthday Pardner



Love the January sketch on the RSC website. When I saw the sketch I immediately pictured this card with the little cowboy on it for a birthday card. Stamped the image from the TAC Wild West set with Memento black ink and colored with copics. Printed Happy Birthday Pardner onto Marigold Morning cardstock and cut out with Star punch. Embossed Caramel background layer with Cuttlebug Paisley folder.
